Every morning, enjoy the first rays of the sun with a breakfast inside the park. Those who chose to snooze is a little longer can enjoy a
sumptuous breakfast at Bada Ghar - where eggs to order are served with garden fresh accompaniments, delicious sambhar and chutneys accompany steamed idlys, and paranthas are served
with homemade, pickles & yoghurt.
A light, well-balanced lunch is planned with a choice of salads and soups with steamed momos or dumplings as starters. Main course may
consist of continental or oriental fare or even a, thin crust Yak cheese pizza with a choice ofmultiple toppings like - chicken, duck, rapti river fish.Watch the sun set over the
Rapti river as you enjoy a glass of bubbly over a machan built on a private island across the lodge.Share stories of the day's wildlife sightings over a communal dinner or enjoy a
romantic private dinner under a canopy of Shimul trees adorned with bright red flowers and a hundred lanterns.
At Meghauli Serai we celebrate the rich influences of the
region which has been dominated by four main ethnic groups - Newari, Sherpa, Pahari & Tharu.For dinner savour Himalyan or Tibetan favourites - Sherpa lamb soup , dried meats
commonly used in Thakali cuisine prevalent in the area between the mountains and Terai lowlands of Nepal or relish local Tharu Thali dinner in a Village set up with local tribal
dancers swaying to a heady beat. Guests are served Sekuwa and Taas,the local style barbeque at Rapti Kinara which is literally by the edge of the Rapti river.
